The Writer

Hi, my name is Okita Takejiro and I'm a writer for Wordsmith LLC.

I feel like this should have been my first blog post.. but I guess it'll be my fifth.

Writers usually start blogging by introducing themselves to the readers and attempt to connect with them this way.. well, I'm glad that I managed to connect with this much readers without having to do so.. and hopefully, after this blog post, more people will see me as I am and see what how I wish to forge Wordsmith LLC as a literary Freelance Company and what it is likely going to become.

My love for writing started back in Japan, in Osaka, place where I was born, raised and lived for the past thirty years. It started as a side hobby and still remains so, as of today, but it has taken a much larger proportion as I grew older with the years. I find something peaceful and soothing in writing, no matter what I write and how I write it. It feels like it almost became essential to me, writing down what was on my mind, what caught my eyes every now and then, what events has happened in the last few days, as if writing would release me of some burden and ease my soul into a balanced state.

The Creation

After moving from Japan to Paleto Bay, I started a Freelance Company that was mainly dedicated to writing. It first started as a small idea of mine, with only me writing for it and I wasn't expecting much from it either, until I saw my Blog and content attracting this much people. I've never thought that anything I would ever write would catch the attention of so many people and I'm pleased it does, seeing this motivates me and pushes me to create more for my audience. I've now moved from Paleto Bay to Los Santos, the big city fills me with so much inspiration, ideas take birth in my head so naturally, it feels like I'll never run out of content. Unlike what people might tend to think, once you really get serious about it, the process of writing is a never ending one. The more you write, the more you feel like writing.

The Process

My creation ritual usually consist in heading to the coffee shop, most of the time the one located on Mirror Park BLVD, in Mirror Park, "Cool Beans Coffee Shop" or the one around the corner if I happen to find myself tight in time. I get in lane, order a cup of Bailey's Coffee and set myself up on a table next to a window, usually one that has a view of the street and is located in the corner end of the shop. I then pick a relaxing music playlist, usually piano to get my mind going. At some points during writing, I come across lapses of time where I get stuck with no ideas and I'm running out of inspiration. These are times where I would find myself gazing at the outside, looking at trees, birds, watch passing cars, people interacting, I happen to catch small glimpses of conversation here and there. Even if these aren't productive, I do enjoy those moments; it's as if everything would be running in slow motion, as if, for a couple of minutes, I could catch a part of life from space and time and keep it to myself and myself only. The morning would be almost over, I'd buy a sandwich from the counter and head off for the day, attending whatever else I have to do during the rest of the day.

Wordsmith LLC

Wordsmith LLC only consists of me as of now and its only content is my blog. I do have future project for the Freelance, such as books, articles for companies like advertising or reviews. Written content yields so much power, I hope that people will see it as I do and hopefully reach me to write for them. Writing is how you leave your trace and legacy, it's how you make history. I'm interested in, eventually, turning Wordsmith LLC into a house of publication for independent writers such as myself. I want to be there for anyone who needs that extra push in order to bring a part of them to the world. I would like Wordsmith to be supportive to a writing community. Wordsmith LLC writes magazine articles, websites, press releases, blog posts, newsletters, internal corporate communications, or brochures. If you have requests or content that you wish to publish, you can easily reach us on https://deveis.com/wordsmithllc or by email ((@AlAzeeth)).
